2 questions regarding Web directories

I have 2 question regarding the web directories..

firstly...if i search for a keyword in a dir and the pardticluar site that i am looking for( my competitor)...appers...is there a way to find out in which catagory has it been listed in... so that i can submit in the ryte catagory...

secondly...where do sites with information about donations and charity shud b put...please suggest a catagory...

Some directory scripts put the category for the site you found via search under the listing, some don't. If not, then you'd just have to keep browsing the directory looking for it.

Not all directories will have the appropriate category for your listing, in that case either find a category it could fit in someway or don't submit to that directory.

 

1- In some directories yes, in some directories no. My directory is in the "yes" group.

2- Depends on the site and the directory. Look for categories called "Philanthropy", "Charities", "Donations" or something like that. If you want to submit it to my directory use http://www.monkey-directory.com/Society-and-Culture/Philanthropy/ (I'll move it if necessary

I thought it was a good place to add a "Donations" subcategory.

 

We have a mod for this that I hope to release in the next version of phpLD, so that the category also appears in search results. I think it is an important feature.

 

Yes, I need that feature ASAP.
