2 Questions! Page eCPM and Sharing Revenue?

What is Page eCPM? Do I earn anything from it?

And I just signed up for the DP Revenue Sharing program, Since then I got my first click with Adsense is the click because of the revenue sharing?

 

a) My understanding is that eCPM is the hypothetical sum you would recieve per 1000 impressions - assuming you get enough impressions, you can earn cash without any clicks. It is really not accurate though!

b) How do you expect us to know... set up channels in adsense so you know where your clicks are coming from!

 

Yes CPM is a rough estimate of how much you would earn from 1000 impressions based upon past performance. The higher number of impressions your ad units receive the more accurate this number will be.

You need to create a special channel in your AdSense account for DP. This channel will have a number that you can copy and paste into the form in your settings here at DP. Once you do that you will be able to see impression and click counts in your Google account stats.

I recommend that you use these channels for all your Google Ads. It is the only way to know which ads/pages/locations are performing and which ones aren't.
