IMO the best way to get honest free traffic is building it with SEO. It's definitely not overnight, but for free and quality traffic there is no other way.

If you got $300 to spend and you want quick, highly targeted traffic to get moving...I'd go with Adwords.

    Hope this Helps,

    JR

I would write quality content targeting keywords, write link baiting articles, make a bunch of friends on digg.com and submit to social bookmarking sites just to name a few

If i was going to spend money id invest it in having articles written cause i hate writing articles. I'd prob spend half the money on articles for my site and half on article to submit to ezinearticles.com

    Hi There,
For free, I'd say write as many articles as you can and post to article directories. I can understand that some people don't like writing articles but I'm the opposite. I could write articles all day. It really does work to get you some free notice when you submit keyword rich articles. My dream would be to be able to write for someone that has talents in other areas on a regular basis (for decent money of course). I wish I was good at say, graphics and other necessary skills online and really respect those that have that type of skill. But I guess we all have our own talents.

As for paying, I'd invest in an autoresonder and build a mailing list by giving away a free report or getting involvld in the online giveaways. Then collect names through your autoresponder. Since you pay for autoresponders, that would be my paid idea.

articles def, but affiliates are free as well and if you've got good ones, you can out do the articles, and they will write the articles for you btw. Because a lot of affiliates have a thing for bum marketing.

Paid depends on you, if you're good with adwords you should go with that, but if you haven't got a clue how to make an andwords campagin profitable. Then you might want to be looking for some other options.

Like ads on high-traffic sites who are in the same niche as you. Also getting your articles on someone else's site might prove useful if you can have a byline. Or your ads/article in ezines.

    have a nice day,
