    Description:

    I am selling two of my proxy sites, below are detail for each. I am selling them both as a package. Please feel free to pm me or ask any questions here on the forum, I have tried to compile as much necessary information for everyones easy viewing to make it easy to make a decision. Screenshots can be viewed at the top right pane of the sitepoint website.

    These sites make money via adsense and adversal. PLEASE NOTE: you will see a adversal daily income drop because I took off adversal on gotblocked.com for some testing, you can reinsert this. Gotblocked.com also may return a browse error, this is because of the server I just moved it on (2 days ago). It is using the free phpproxy by witefry.

    Traffic Details:
    Most traffic comes from proxy.org and other quality referrals, you can see from where in the images (http://www.uprox.com/sale). These links WILL STAY with the sale, as I didnt request these links, they were added by the site owners and seem to be going stronger by the day.

    Isn't Google cracking down on these proxy sites (using Adsense)? Seems like we're seeing an awful lot of these for sale lately

    There is absolutely nothing wrong with Adsense on proxy sites as long as you keep the ads to the home page. Regarding the sale, it would be a hard sell IMHO because it's only 1+ month old.

    I type this at least twice per week: there is absolutely no reason why AdSense wouldn't want ads on proxy sites; traffic and clicks is traffic and clicks. You cannot have AdSense ads show on proxied pages because you do not control the visable content with only your ads in the top frame.

    And you see an awful lot of these for sale everyday, it's a common site category.

    Thats correct, google adsense is legal on proxy sites, just not on the "browsed" pages within a search using the proxy.

    Auction will end on 10/18/06, bids can be made here via pm as well as on sitepoint.
