2 Problems (column background, and column not extending to bottom of page)

    Problem 1 is:

The grey background color (seen in the left column) is not in the right column. I don't know how to change this.

    Problem 2:

The right column, does not extend to the bottom of the page (till the footer) like the left column does

Note: the left column extends to the bottom (even if there is no text). You can't see this because the image did not capture the whole website, just the screen.

I attached the 3 files in a folder as a .zip incase you need to review the coding.

This is the original template by the way:

Here you can clearly see the left column goes all the way down, while the right columns only extend if there is text. Also, you can see that the background is the same, however when I shifted the (right) column all the way to the edge, it somehow got messed up.

It is called multi flex 3 http://www.openwebdesign.org/userinfo.phtml?user=gwolfgang

If anyone can review the css and HTML and tell me how to fix it, I would be greatful. This is my 2nd time moding a template, so it is very confusing.

    Thanks!

I doubt the template is working the way you think it is. The background image for the left sidebar is a part of the container. If the layout is fixed with, then you can edit /img/bg_main_withnav.jpg and mirror it for the right sidebar.

If you did not understand, delete /img/bg_main_withnav.jpg or just rename it and then view the site and you will notice the left sidebar does not extend to the bottom either, it just appears to.
