2 PR8's or 3 PR7's?

I didn't realise my budget for a new project went so quickly (i should manage money better) but i'm curious, what would you say is more beneficial. Two PR8 backlinks, or 3 PR7's. Forget about rankings, i'd just like to know what would up the pagerank more..

 

I think it depends on the number of the links on the mentioned sites. The fewer link there is, the more PR Your site will get. If i were You, i would choose the 3 pcs PR7 links.

 

If everything remains same, 2 PR8.
Nothing much is known about the PR calculation details, but all the experts agree with the fact that it is not a linier scale. It is exponential, each PR increase means the actual rank is increasing in multiples. To make it clear, one PR 10 will be as good as thousands of PR 1 links, or even hundreds of thousands.

Going by the same logic, 2 PR8 link will be a LOT better than 3 PR 7 links.

 

I agree. If you can afford it, you should go with 2 PR8 and PM me and tell me what they are and how much you paid for them. I would be interested in doing the same.

 

2 PR 8 should be better. Also you need check how many outbound link in their pages.

I ever knew sitewide PR8 links priced about 50$ a week.

 

i will go to a link that is relevant, quality, and trusted site...if those PR8's will be of relevant to my site i'll go for it rather than the 3 PR7 and vice versa...

 

PR8 links would be always better but it will be hard to find some PR8 websites in that case PR7 would be better I think so

2 PR8 should be better but you should acquite and some PR1-PR5 links with your anchor text. It should skyrocket your site.

I would go for the 2 PR8 sites. Easy decision.

 

I think 2 PR8 should pass more PR juice than 3 PR7 on short term.

But if you are going to keep those links for some times, I'll choose the 3 PR7 option.

PR7 site can become PR8 faster than PR8 becoming PR9...
If thoses sites increase their PR you could then have 2 PR7 + 1 PR8 or even 1 PR7 + 2 PR8
