scammer number 1. Crimsonc This guy was selling a theme which I loved. He sold it as "FULL RIGHTS" as the thread title said. I offered him a lower price. Here is the pm I sent him "Sorry to pm you again, but my current offer is 1 sig link for 1 year, (change it as much as you want) resell it too. and 50 dollars. I also will leave the link to your site in the footer and hope to get the blog high pagerank.." He thinks that entitles him to resell the theme and change it. When I said change it as much as you want and resell it too, I was obviously referring to the signature link. Hence why it was after. So in this fools mind I offered $50 for a theme that he could resell and change.. uh no. It's not my fault he read it wrong. So he went ahead and used a very similar theme with the same sidebar and footer (which was a pretty unusual and abstract sidebar) on other themes. He also used the background on other themes. A paypal dispute was opened up, although the wrong information was put in - got confused and put in info about another theme all together. You can see the similarites between the theme with "FULL RIGHTS" here. --------------------------------------------------------- scammer number 2 - Zameera This person sold a template which you can see here. He sold it was being 'unique'. today I found out a theme that was exactly the same apart from the header.( see here ) - It's called "Red Clover. I had around $115 to invest, $10 which I spent on a domain and $100 which I spent on 2 themes. Both which turned out to be just chopped themes. I don't think i'll be buying anymore themes from anyone with under 15 itrader. Both of these members seem reputable at first glance, but they are not.
Meh, just be careful. They both seemed like they were offering good templates @ a good price. I doubt either of them will refund me.
I hope they refund you my friend. I think it is better to buy templates/themes from reputable sites. In the future someone may sell a copyright protected theme and we unknowingly would get on the wrong side of the law. Sites like templatemonster provide themes at competitive prices too. Its about $55 a theme there.
You are lying again, bitter that you're not entitled to a refund you're continuing to drag my name through the dirt. You admitted yourself you didn't have full rights, enough said. NOT MY WORD AGAINST YOURS, YOU ADMITTED IT WILLINGLY. His case for a refund hinged completely on the fact that he had full rights, yet he openly admitted he KNEW he didn't. You're also breaking copyright laws by displaying those images but you refuse to remove them. Don't you dare call me a scammer when you have contridicted yourself several times, made endless mistakes and ADMITTED you didn't have full rights. Forget that PM, it is irrelevent, you basically confessed in public. What blows my mind is even though you did this, and I repeated it for all to see no one seems to pay any attention. If a man says he didn't commit a murder then says he did, would you ignore the confession and let him off?
