Contest 2 Part Design Contest 40 dollars Ends in 3 days or sooner! Need ASAP

Ok, so here is the story. I have a new project that i am starting that has no site available yet. It will be a dark theme for the template with a logo that is 240 by 110 in width and height. So as this is a two part contest i will explain.

I am looking for a new logo that will work with a dark theme, and i am looking for a "award" that will fit into the whole concept.

So here are the stats:
Logo: sits on a dark template
Site title: E site award
Slogan: Excellence By Complete Design
Payment: 40.00 by paypal
Duration: 3 days or when i find the right logo.
Requirements: The "E" in the logo and the award is the key to the design. Use your imagination and come up with something that has a great pop to it. Must be .PSD

If you have any questions post them here. If you have a design post it here. I will comment and check this often to get it going. I am looking to close this ASAP and would love to have it over before the 3 day mark, but if i don't find a winner i will close this and try again.

ok, thanks everyone for putting in your submissions so far. The issue i have is that the "e" in these are not that eye popping. I am looking for something that can also be uses as a symbol on the award as well.

And the original version ... the small one(240X110)

If you want something changed tell me and i will do my best , and if you choose my logo i will send you the "e" image , the small and big logo and any of these three images on any color.

loginavid's second design is along the lines of the type of out of the box "E" that i am looking for. It looses the feel of the letter "e" but comes damn close to where i am trying to get this to go.

 

Any feedback on my entry?

 

its good but not what i am trying to capture for the logo. Its just dosen't fit what i am looking for as the brand for the new site.
