I just spent the last couple of days coding an affiliate program for my new Shareware Application. There are no requirements for signing up besides having a Paypal account that I can pay to. The Shareware app is pretty straightforward. You enter a Boggle puzzle and it outputs all of the words contained in the puzzle. I coded it from the ground up (originally it started out as a way for me to learn GUI programming.. then I decided to make it into a full-fledged Shareware application). The program works with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux (and potentially with other OS's and devices that run Java... but I haven't tested those). It can be used for both online (to win every time or potentially to advertise something in your name at the top of the high score list) and offline (to offer the advantages of an online game to offline players.. mainly you see which words you missed so you can get them next time). I don't have the money to do traditional advertising, hence the affiliate program. Once you sign up, you can create a referrer link to put wherever you want. Whenever someone buys through your link, you get $2 added to your account. Payments will be made the first week of the month to accounts that have a balance of $20+. Pretty typical affiliate program in that respect. I am especially hoping to get affiliates who run game sites or something relevant to the software. But honestly I don't care where the links are placed. Here's the link to the application: www.winboggle.com And the link to sign up for the affiliate program: www.winboggle.com/affiliate.php Thanks.
