I am looking for info, regarding automated in-house CPM managment.
For instance, an advertiser pays for 10,000 impressions of his banner, when the number is reached the banner is either replaced or taken down automatically. Also to be able to add further advertisers easily (in a database, i dont know) so that they can rotate flawlessly. What do the big sites use for this ?

I need some software customized, for a website, which first has to be tweaked by a software company, then i need to find someone to optimize it for the web, since the company that creates the software does not specialize in online compatibility.

Any ideas on how to go about this. Your help is much valued!

Not sure what to say about the CPM management. I don't have a clue what the big sites use.

I'd be very careful about your second question, though. Developing for the web is quite a bit different from pretty much any other environment. Unless the first company specializes in intranet apps, there's a lot more involved than just optimizing it for the web. So that first company might very well come up with something that needs to be re-written from the ground up by the second company (or, at least, there's a chance the second company will see it that way).

Furthermore, getting two different companies to work on the same piece of software is always problematical. After all, who do you go to when you find a bug?
