2 New IPL teams Finally Selected :)

The two new IPL teams are finally out its going to be

Pune
Kochi

Sahara Bagged Pune
Rendezvous gets Kochi

i am happy coz Pune is my home city and now we wil have an IPL team

 

When are they joining the competition?

 

Cool . Congrats for your home city team getting selected and will they be out in IPL 4 ?

 

They will join us in 2011.

 

Yea they will come in IPL4 and also in next IPL all players will be in auction again

 

So the competition will be tough now. new teams = more fun and excitement.

And thank god the players will be auction again.

 

Players should be divided properly

 

Ya the auction will happen again and players will get more money this time from these new teams.

I expected a team will come from Ahmedabad ,But bad luck for Gujarati guys .

 

There are some news that Sahara has approached Sourav Ganguly for next year. His 3 years deal with KKR ends this year.

 

will Sourav gonna leave kkr do u think he will?

 

There will be open auction for everybody in September/October and it is yet to be decided whether the teams would be able to retain some key players.

The two new teams fetched astronomical price to BCCI with both getting sold out for 10 years for 3200+ crores in total!
In the first round, 8 teams in all... gave BCCI only 2800+ crores combined! Just look at the increase in price tag over just 3 years!

It also means more cricket for players and they will pick up injuries too! If this things continue then we would see in next 10 years we might not see Test matches.

 

i think its going to be very good moment for ipl fans

 

Its good that one more south indian team in IPL next year.

 

One team should have been from Central India [U.P. / M.P. / BIHAR / CHATTISGARH /UTTARAKHAND ]

 

Well yea but then bidders should be interested too...

 

Also bid price need to be higher, see A'bad lost the chance for just Rs 86 Cr difference. ( This amount is big for us but not for BCCI.)

 

So we get to see lot of IPL matches in next year IPL.

 

I think Kochi deserves better! Many talented players in Kerala are not reaching to the National team simply because there is nobody to influence.
