2 month prohibited transfer of domain

Hi,

I have just registered a domain name and am selling it via Sedo.co.uk.

I have been told by someone that there is a 2 month prohibited transfer of a domain name from when it was either registered or transferred. Is this true?

Yes, it is true. You can push it to another person that has an account at the same registrar, though.
