    Hello everyone,

    I recently found a spare laptop, and I was wondering if I was able to hook up the extra monitor to my laptop?

    I see there is a cable there, but would it work? And would two different things show up on the laptop screen and monitor?

    Anyone ever do this or do it now?

    Hi,
    Yes i do it to three different laptops i have. I run 2 monitors on each. And yes they show 2 different screens. Just go into your properties tab and set it up that way. I hope this helps.
