2 meta tags I've never seen; Do they work?

    I have ran across two different meta tags that I have never seen before and was wondering if they are even being used in today's surps. They are:

    <meta name="robots" content="all">
    <meta name="distribution" content="global">

    Would it hurt to take these tags off a site if they are not being used?

    They don't really do much. One is in addition to a robots.txt file. Give google a search and you will find plenty about how to use it :)

    Don't add them, they do nothing good. Just more code and low code to text ratio.
