2 Links on a webpage -- linking to the same page -- can that hurt SEO?

If I have 2 links on a page.... redirecting to another page on my site ---- can that hurt SEO for having 2 duplicate links?

Basically... I have a condo website im building.... and at the top of the page it says "Click here to search" ---- and then later on in the website --- there is another link that says CONDOS .... and both go to the same search page

Also, can having a link with the anchor "CLICK HERE TO SEARCH" --- hurt SEO???

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would think you would have to worry about it much. I have seen plenty of high ranking sites with two sets of menus, one main one and one in the footer. I think this would be similiar.

There's a huge sticky thread saying "This Section is Not for Discussions About Your Site (or any specific sites)"

Just make one of them "nofollow" and live happy
I'd say the "click here to search" is the right one to nofollow. That's a useless anchor anyway.

Search Engines will ignore the second link. I don't think you need to worry about that. However marking the second link with nofollow is a good idea (you can find more info about nofollw here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nofollow ).

This is a nofollow link example:
    <a href="yoursite.com" rel="nofollow">your anchor text</a>

Such a link cannot harm your rankings, I have done it in the past with no ill effects...
