    The domain is whats known as a domain hack. It basically spells out the word pugs which a real word using the extension as the final two letters of the word.

    Two letter domains are very rare, and to find one that actually says a real word with a huge amount of marketing potential such as this one, is rarer still.

    A domain hack can be anything like kiss.me or Youand.me or even blo.gs

    My offer though like your auction will only be available once and for an hour or so.

    It is as you say (a hack) but not a particularly good one as it makes a name and not a search string for one of the biggest growing areas on the planet!
