    Hi everybody,
i hope this is the right place for my question.

I am building a website for the travel agency i am working with at the moment.
it's a website about traveling to Asia, divided into sub-sites per country.
In the footer i have links to each country's page.
The boss would like me to help him promote a country page on another website. The problem is the country already exists in mine.
My question is this : How does it affect my site or the links themselves if at the bottom of each page i have 2 links with the keyword Japan, one pointing to this very same site and another pointing to an external one.

I personally think it can only harm. What do you think?

i think you should advertise it, use dofollow links, they help too.

    Advertise what?
They're obviously Dofollow links, otherwise i wouldn't care.

advertise your travel agent site, go to those high PR and post a comment and sign off with your site example:

    regards,
    <a href=''yoursite.com>Name</a>

I don't want to brag, but we are already the top 3 search results for anything about Asia.
Thank you for the tip, but it has absolutely nothing to do with my question....
