Hello, I am having 2 doubts which i want to clear it from SEO experts here. 1. If i am having my website link in all forums as my signature, is SEs going to consider it as a back link to my website or not. 2.If i am having a link exchange with pharmacy or casino website and hav there link in my website page is it going to be any trouble for my listing in SEs OR If i am having a pharmacy website and having link exchage with casino website the is it going to be problem for my domain by SEs. I am very confuse with it please suggest me. Thanks
Yes, links on forums often count as back links to your site. Unless the forum uses rel no follow attributes on links. Posting on forums also gives you visitors before the search engines come your way. So that's good too. If you have to do link-exchange, do it with sites related to your subject. So no: don't get a link from a casino website if your site is in the online pharmacy subject range. More on link-building.
You have to get links from sites related to your business, itherwise they won't have as much value as they should...
When you link to a theme based sites, then Google considers the linking as vote for your site. But when you link to a non-theme based site (read non related) then the linking is not considered as vote or if it is considered then the value you get is negligible. So better stick to theme based sites.
Links from forums are usually counted as backlinks...while you have to link with those related, quality, and trusted site and that will help for your site...
