    The point about tinyURL is that it WON'T appear in SERPs unless somebody else in the thread posts the name (which they could do anyway). I agree with the other buyer who said you lose a lot of your potential buyers. A lot of serious buyers (myself included) are too busy to PM for a URL. I appreciate you have reasons but as I and others have pointed out, SERP can be overcome.

    Just my .02, good luck with the sale.

    Dmoz has been known to remove websites that are sold while using "Dmoz" as a plus. so the concern is real

    Please PM URL, and of course income stats for the last three months, listed individually.

    The seller should have used tinyurl and not have mentioned the DMOZ association.. every real buyer would be smart enough to see it is dmoz listed, and associate value to it accordingly.

    thanks for all the advice guys

    i have sold sites here before so am aware of the issues that can arise by putting links here to your site for sale even via tinyurl with dmoz etc

    the info i send once someone has sent me there email address
    contains traffic stats, revenue, and important info about the sites that you would only ask anyway, so is time saving for us all
    you can build a picture of whether this is of interest to you, before you start your research into buying

    i also plan on keeping the sites if they dont sell for the right amount and so only want to keep the sale private as possible

    i am aware i may lose some potential buyers, but anyone investing a serious amount of cash would want discretion and all the info i provide aswell

    it's one reason i sell via DP, there's switched on people here who know true value and can spot the crap sites! so you know you are getting a good buyer from a good seller!:D
