    Having looked into this, especially in light of what Valhalla discovered about PinkMisfit bidding for this very same site on Sitepoint ..... I have come to the conclusion that this is truly an effort to defraud money from both DP and Sitepoint members.

    This conclusion is supported by the fact that moderators have suspended the auction on Sitepoint.

    The Sitepoint auction is/was listed here:

    .... whether or not PinkMisfit owns the site is irrelevant .... both sales have been fraudulantly represented.

    Pity DP don't moderate its forum a little more closely.

    Regardless, members have been warned ..... purchase at your own risk!!

    Are you not going to reply to that post above? Or are you just going to ignore it and pretend its not there? This looks very much like a scam attempt, or at the very least you arent being honest, so it would be in your interests to explain what is going on...

    Isnt a scam. I haven't sold a site before and I didnt know that you couldnt post the site on more than one place. As far as the bids on site point when he posted it for auction he said that it might help if I posted some questions to perk peoples interest. I bidded under what we set the res at in hope that others would start bidding on it. It was dumb after I did it but I couldnt go back and change it. If anyone has doubts about the ownership of the site they can message me and I will provide proof.

    Sorry for any confusion I went about selling the site on sitepoint the wrong way.

    Oh I forgot to add if the site sells for 2k or more I will add in free traffic for 2 weeks after its purchased. The traffic will generage at least 4k unique visitors a day.
