2 different Adsense accounts on same page

    Quick question.

If there are 2 people with AdSense accounts sharing ownership of a site, could we both display ads ; one in each ad location on a page - lets say left and right column..?

I've searched the TOS (oh now thats some fun reading  ) didn't see anything against it there...might have missed it though.

I would email adsense directly about this.

It may not be the best idea. I'ts rumored if your account gets banned, all the sites that had your ads on it are banned too. So if your partner or whoever else was doing shady things on another site he could potentially get your site banned and maybe even your account to.

I have done this with alot of people (shared ad time) for almost 1 year now on several different sites. I have never had any problems.

I think yo-yo has some very good advice though about your partner getting you banned. Becareful =)

I asked Google about this 4 months ago.

I have columnists that write articles for my site and I get them to open their own Adsense accounts and float their ads on their content. My ads are located above and on the right.

The response from Google was quick and clear. Make sure that we adhere to the TOS regarding clicks and it's OK.

But as Yo-yo said you should shoot adsense an email to be sure.

if i remember correctly, I think the new Google Adsense TOS stated that you required Google approval before you can put another adsense account's ads in the same page.

Just as an idea, you could rotate the publisher id that is displayed on the page, while keeping all ad units per page with the same pub id. (kinda like this forum) You get every other page view and the other guy gets the rest.

Thanks for the feedback and great ideas on this guys! I'll fire off an email to Google and talk to my partner about the rotation idea.

    Thanks again guys!

One person can display ads on many websites but two accounts on the same website i dont think is a good idea google may ban your site.
