Contest 2 day logo design for property development - $35 to winner

Need a logo for a building project which as yet remains unnamed. Possible names are "Mill House", "The Mill", "London Mill", "Green Mill", "Acton Mill" etc.

The development is in London, UK and will feature a cluster of 8 properties.

Client particular likes the colour grey but would also consider white, yellow and mint green. They are looking for a logo that is simple and elegant with a strong identity.

1. Logo runs for 2 days but will extend if required - client needs to see design by 12:00 noon on Friday 27th March
2. No clip art/copyright images please - original designs only
3. Logo must be suitable for web and print
4. Winner will be paid via Paypal
5. If no suitable logo is found, we reserve the right not to appoint a winner

two much colour (looking for something grey) and I understand the 8 sectors for the 8 properties but don't really get the two sectors with the spikes on. Thanks for submitting your design though

zSmartDesign - think I might have mislead you with the wording of the brief. This is a completed development of properties and the logo is required to market and sell the properties. Therefore, your "construction" based logo is not relevant. Thanks anyway.

Dreamsmaker - nice logo and like the use of teh greay colours which the client likes, but I think this suggests that the properties are part of a large tower block. They are just a small development of 8 houses.

finally received feedback from client.

- most opf the designs were not considered "elegant" or "up market enough". This is a development of properties costing £1 million pounds each so the logo needs to reflect this. The development will be similar to http://www.berkeleygroup.co.uk/new-homes/london/chiswick/chiswick-gate but on smaller scale.

- Dreamsmaker - they did like your logo and thought the idea was interesting and they liked the font used. Howerver, they thought the design was a little "sterile"
- Frikusha - this was their favourite design, They thought the design and the thinkinmg behind it were very clever. Could they see a version with the wording Willow Mill please.
