2 computers, 2 different earnings.

I was on my desktop but needed to get a file from my laptop, when I opened the firefox browser on my laptop the notifier showed me 1 cent more then what was on my desktop, so I logged into my account on my desktop it still shows the same amount, then i logged into adsense with my laptop and it shows the penny more..

How is this possible?

 

Did you press refresh (f5) so your browser reloads instead of using the cache... when I look and the stats are the same, doing a refresh does change them sometimes.

 

Firefox likes to hang on to the cache of a page. Try emptying your cache and look again.

 

Cleared the cache and refreshed and both computers still displaying different amounts. the laptop is 1 cent more then the desktop.

 

I would stick to using the laptop then

Well funny you should mention it... sometimes you get different earnings when you go to advanced reports instead of the overview on the same computer. I'm pretty sure it all comes out to the same at the end of the day.

I used to see different earnings on different browser last time, until I learn to ctrl-f5.

 

perhaps there are different datacenters that show different results until they are updated. Kinda like the SERPS? that might be it.

 

Sometimes you get those 1 cent here and therefrom cpm ads, which could have updated.
