    2 clicks + 2 different sites + 1 ip address = BAN ?

I just thought of this, say i have a website that links to another website and both of them has adsense. What if the user clicks on site 1 ad first, then goes on the other site and clicks the ad for the 2nd time. It is the same ip address.

Will that result in a BAN?

No, that cannot lead to ban. :)
Joel comm (the adsense guru) has many interlinking sites.

Not banned, because it's not your IP

It's not the site IP that's important, it's the clicker's IP.

I have just gotten an AdSense account and I was going to ad my code to 2 sites. I am worried about the same thing. Most of my visitors are university students. They all use the universities connection and most will visit 1 or both of my sites. What happens if they click on ads. Will I get banned? I can't find anything in Googles TOS about it.

Yes, i have the same question as him.

Schools have LAN in all their computers, so say one person clicks an ad on the site, and the other person sitting beside him on another computer clicks on another ad on the same time, and this happens like 3-5 times throughout the day from different computers, will that get to BAN?

I would link it depends on the earnings. If you are talking about a 1-2 cent once in a while why are they going to bother if it is not coming from your ip?

    I'm a girl by the way :p
Google should make it clearer in their terms about IP address issues as I don't think I'm the only person thinking of putting ads on a site with the majority of users coming from a huge LAN environment, ie. The same IP.

I have a website that is popular in our university and almost all IPs of few thousand compters on campus are like 156.198.x.x (sample) and getting many clicks from similar ip's got me banned, but when I explained situation in email google activated my account. and since then I live happily ever after walking around campus clicking my ads, (kidding, the crt has to be natural anyway)

Hey man, the situation also says, once the visitor clicks an ad he is away from your website, then to reach your website, get to the link of your other website, go there and click the ad, it takes a lot of pageviews, so there is no linking factor between both the clicks

you can host unlimited domain on one hosting account and run many sites. even if you don;t interlink, still all your clicks are goona be from same IP but different sites. nothing wrong with it

IMO, things should NOT work like that. And I do hope they dont. This pattern is followed daily on their large network of publishers. Unless they see its YOU who did the click thingie, you are safe. :D

Yes. I wouldn't loose sleep over such stuff. But, a newbie might get confused about them. So, better ask in the public forums like DP. Or maybe contact them. (For a generic message from them) :D

Huh? What does your hosting arrangement have to do with the IP your clicks come from?
