    Yes it could happen, as long as you have high paying key words.
    Such as business related and adsense or adwords related.
    also debt, loan and study related key words are high paying.

    I've never gotten more than $2.48.

    But you have to think about what youre selling. Credit Cards, Commercial Insurance is worth a ton for an advertiser.
