2 backend systems for one site--use same sign in?

    is it possible to have 2 different backend systems and have the same sign in?

    I am starting an ecommerce site where 1. customers log in and 2. affiliates log in

    Can I keep the sites the same and use the same sign in page?

    apache handles everything. but i guess your ecommerce is not custom built. ask your CMS supplier for support
