2 accounts with paypal?

One personal and one premier, I read their TOS quite some time ago and it was allowed back then, is it still legal to do this with paypal?

And, can I transfer money in my premier account to my personal account for the sake of wire transfer? It brings down wire transfer costs, but is it allowed?

    Thanks!

    I confirm, it's legit.

I have both, personal and premiere, no issues -- 4 years running.

Nothing has changed, you can still have 1 personal and 1 premier/business account with paypal. The only thing is that both accounts must be associated with different email address and credit card.

Yes, you can transfer money from your premier to your personal account to consolidate the transfer. Just make sure you do not raise any dispute on yourself ;) and it would be fine. Moreover, in the remark column of the transfer state that you are just consolidating your funds for withdrawal. Sometimes a little remark goes a very long way.

Don't transfer more than say $2,000 at one go then you should be fine.

Can you have 2 personal ones totally not connected to eachother (different users holders, same IP)?

Nope. A single person is allowed to have a single personal account and either a business or premier account.

However, I am not sure of PayPal's family policy, so it may be possible for a family member such as brother, wife etc. to open one from the same IP. If you need a confirmed answer, send PayPal an email.

Well, when you sign up with Paypal, the account holder must be the one who sign up and thus need to provide accurate information.

However, if say both you and your one of your family members have individual paypal accounts, there is nothing wrong is transferring one to the other. However, since you are near each other, you can always pay the other in cash but then again, I am not the one to judge.

Just make sure that both accounts are fully verified legally.

Sooner or later, they will ask for proper verification. just give them that and explain to them that both are members of the same family.
    there wont be any problem.

Perhaps i didnt do my DD correctly. But i totally disagree with most of you. You can only have one account with paypal. I am norwegian verified 5 year paypal account holder. I moved to Poland for studies and when i setup another account from here on my polish address and different ip due to location, they contacted me and told me to pick of my accounts and have the second shut down. Naturally i am from norway so i kept that one.

I had a business and personal account. If not many of have have been asked the same way i would consider it lucky. But i will bow to any written materials for display that can change my experience.

Thread starte. DO NOT SEND MONEY FROM ONE OF YOUR ACCOUNT TO YOU SECOND ACCOUNT! Do not risk getting both shut down!
    regards

    DL

Well, technically speaking, you can only sign up for a paypal from the current country you are in. The last time I asked Paypal, they told me that if I am moving to another country permanently or for anything longer than a holiday, I would need to close my current country account and open a new one in the new country that I am in. Because you will need to provide current address and current information.

You most certainly can have a business and a personal account, it said so in the Paypal's contracts. You will however need to use different email address, credit card and bank account.

I think you get the picture. There is nothing wrong in having a personal account and a premier/business account.
