Transaction Amount Merchant Name Merchant Number
    $1.00 PAYPAL 00XXXX45455XX
    $1.95 PAYPAL--*EXPUS 00XXXX45455XX

Paypal mentioned that the charge would be 1.95 .. but 2.95 has been debited from my account . .
    Why is it so ?

Oftentimes, when a charge is first made, a dollar is deducted to mark the transaction...Sometime later, the real amount is taken out and that $1 is ghosted...

Usually, this depends if the charge is initiated as a 'Debit' or 'Credit' transaction to begin with...
