Does this sound cool by any way ?

    2,794 impressions with 0 clicks

My ad text and landing page are related to each other and to the keywords I'm bidding at as well.

Is there anything I can do to get clicks ?

Have you got the content network on? that's the easist way to run up lots of impressions with few (or no) clicks.
For search network - are you using broad or phrase match? If you are, you need to think about negative keywords - your ad may be showing for totally inappropriate searches - especially for broad.

    I put keywords like

    [keyword]
    [another keyword]

What do you mean by negative keywords ? I'm new to adwords :(

Sorry, thought you were a publisher. I do not recommend using ppc for a site like yours. Use PPL (Pay per lead) from a different service.

Not sure I agree about disabling the content network. It can be a great way to get lower cost traffic and your content network CTR doesn't have any effect on your search status so why not leave it on?

Just make sure that in your keyword tracking you know if you are getting your leads from search or content. To do that add this to your subid:

    {ifcontent:c}{ifsearch:s}

Then you'll be able to decide for yourself based on your results whether its worth it or not.

turn it off because search and content don't work the same way. They are 2 different marketing methods which don't work the same way, which is why some many people have been burned by it in the past

Impressions are a byproduct..clicks are what counts. Overall you need to put the right message in front of the right people, not just toss an ad up in front of a bunch of people, hoping the right ones will come by...

Thanks for the info about negative keywords

I think ppc fits better in selling softwares ?

    Will do this now

hmmm. thinking about it now :D

Well, here are my latest stats (without changing any settings since I started the campaign)

    impr 4,363 - clicks 1

That was by targeting US only. I will make another campaign with smaller bids for the whole world and see how it goes.

At first I thought you should turn off your content network as well, but that doesn't really solve the problem. You may want to take a closer look at your ad text. Also check out what the competition is running in their ads. Keep track of ads that stick around consistently in the #1 spot - they wouldn't be there unless they are making money.
