Okay guys so I found a "how to keyword" with 2.7 million global searches and the domain exactly available in .ORG - There are some giant websites like Yahoo that rank on top for that keyword but they just contain the keyword, not the how to. Adword tool shows moderate competition for that keyword. The keyword's searches with "how to" are actually 2.7 million so I'm specific with it. Is it worth a shot if I could rank up than Yahoo on this one ? ( I have the exact domain name of course )
You have a good chance at ranking with this domain name. Exact keyword.org will rank front page usually as long as you do on-site seo for the chosen website. O_O
2.7 is nothing to sneeze at. If you can get ranked towards the top of the first page for that phrase, then you should be able to pull in a decent amount of money every month. I'd do it.
Good luck with your project. After you finish your site get back links as much as possible with the Anchor Text of your Key Phrase.
How many results it shows .... when you search keyword intitle:keyword In google that's the competition ..
Lucky you! A keyword with 2.7 million searches and moderate competition! Put some great content and start link building! Just go for it! Don't even think about Yahoo!
Are those exact search volumes or broad? And don't check competition through adwords. Check the top 10 ranking websites for that keyword. Check how big they are and how many backlinks they have, and of course check their relevance.
Those are gloval monthly searches through adowords tool. Now I found one with 16 milliom searches and .COM exact keyword domain
Actually i dont target broad and phrase match results cz they have a huge difference when they are analyzed in exact match. Exact match refers to the visitors who have come to ur site with some intention to buy or gain something from or we can say they are the true clients. And another thing, only relying on adwords competition is not adequate. You need to analyze the top ten sites one on one. Their domain age, PR, backlinks to domain, backlinks to page, Anchor text ( this is cz some sites are targeting to position in another related keyword and due to inadequate sources, google will rank them in various related keywords), Intitle competition, On page strength, Referring domains etc.
If you are using google keyword tool then i think use should check exact searches and i don't think that there could be enough searches for a exact keyword. Correct me if i am wrong but i think you have ticked on the broad results. Ticking on the exact searches will generate the real result which is exact keyword match.
Yeah you're wrong, I'm talking about the exact match. And how do you check backlinks for a website? ( I suppose Alexa ) But how to check backlinks of a Page? And backlinks for a keyword ?
