I'm still a newbie with the tag still attached, but after a few months on clickbank, here are my random questions and concerns regarding clickbank and digitalpoint: 1. although I've made my first sale over a week ago, why is it so dam hard for sale #2? 2. Why are there so many products with 0 or very low gravity compared to the scant few with over 30 gravity? 3. redirect vs. wordpress blog? 4. Is dlm a man or a woman? 5. Am I the only one who likes the old interface that clickbank had? 6. Who's the most successful clickbanker of all time? 7. Who is the 2nd most successful clickbanker of all time? 8. How many hours a day does it take to make $100 a day using clickbank? 9. Where will clickbank be in 10 years? 10. What percentage of all clickbankers gross more than 16,000 a year?
1. It's hard because you haven't been consistent. Continue promotion, over time you will generally get more sales. Articles I wrote a year ago still bring me sales every day. 2. Gravity tends to be low because of the lack of affiliates that promote and earn sales. The other products, on the other hand, that have above 30 gravity, have many sales earned by affiliates, and more people promoting, generally. 3. I prefer a wordpress blog, I have tested redirect and wordpress works out better (review style for me). 4. It's none of my business 5. I prefer the new interface, as it's better for my product that I host with CB. Although, some aspects were better before the change. 6. Don't know 7. Don't know 8. It's not how many hours you work per day to earn $100 per day, it's how you work in those hours. You could work for 10 hours, and write 30 articles (poorly), and earn no sales, or work 1 hour and write a really good article with many backlinks and all. Think smart when spending your hours working. Ultimately, don't look at being a Cb affiliate/vendor as a JOB, look at it as being a business. 9. In 10 years, I'd say it will be absolutely saturated with niche products, as the net expands and gains new niches. 10. I'd be interested to know this, however I don't know the official statistic. Dim.
lol~ I guess you should download some Ebooks from google(just use goolge advance search to search for PDF format with relevant keywords to get free Ebooks) to read more about the strategy and tactics of affiliate marketing rather than asking meaningless questions here. First sale is always the hardest sale. Since you managed to do it, just spend more time and effort on it to get more sales. In fact, my situation is quite similar to yours as I just started clickbank on nov 2009. After making my first sale on nov 11 2009, my sales have been increasing along the way. Currently, I can make $50 a day with 2 products. One of them is Dim's product (ps3lightsfix). Just focus on 1-3 products before start promoting other products. Good Luck.. and happy spring festival ! I gonna celebrate tonight... Hope my comment can help you.
For me the 3rd sale is the hardest. I am in affiliate marketing for less than 2 months. I had my first sale about 2 weeks ago and the next day i had another sale (from a different product). About the landing page: it doesn`t seem to work for me. I tried this method, but i had about 2 hops in 3 days.
