I was wondering if anyone knew if using the 1x1 pixel tracking image for CJ links is a requirement to earn commissions?

The "Get HTML Link" page says this...

Anyone know if I can just use the URL and forget about adding the 1-pixel image? Thanks.

Hmm is this for textlinks? If so then I just use the url and forget the image and get commission fine.

The 1x1 pixel tracking image lets CJ track impressions of banner ads or text links - ie how many times a banner ad or text link has been displayed. Yes, you just can use the URL but note that in that case your CJ stats won't show number of impressions.

You should still get paid. Stats will be messed up as stated.

The best thing you can do is check your cookies to make sure they are set.

Some advertisers are pretty anal however, and they want to know the traffic stats. If they want to they can deny payment.
