What do you think about it? Do you have any website or blog that is in 1st page in search engine? what is its secrete?
It's no secret....just regularly get quality links and add unique content. Ensure your onpage seo has at least the bare minimum. In the end it mostly comes down to backlinks though.
1st page is a good start. Now try to rank in top 3. Sure. Quite a lot of sites actually. Original content + decent onpage optimization + as much backlinks as possible.

There is no secret It all depends on how you optimize your site. Build links properly and create contents naturally. And that's it! I have one blog that is number one on a very competitive keyword. It has around 100M competitor site. But all I do is proper research and analysis to rank it up.
I am new to this forum stuff, however, i am wondering how many backlinks do you think it takes to make a difference to google. If backlinks count so much on ranking. Also do links from one page to another on your own site count?
Lot of work is needed in this. Good content, good code, quality links... and depends of the niche. But it's really good to see your page at the first page (even if it's not 1st palce)
Links aren't the only thing either... although they are important. I have a site that ranks number 1 in several fairly competitive keywords and it's a PR0 site. If you focus on a specific niche or specific keyword while building your site then it will defiantly help your ranking in that category.

Make sure you have SEO pages in place prior to getting indexed, and focus on back link development. If your content is good enough, people will respond in kind by bookmarking your site for future reference, and spreading the word all at the same time. Remember though, SEO is one thing, Marketing is another. Your marketing efforts should not focus on getting page 1 (even though it would be nice). Keep your marketing efforts seperate and generate the traffic that you need in the interim. It will all come together in the end, as long as you are persistent.
