After months testing, finally see the return from eBay. Selling in eBay will help you to see instant result. For those who want to see the result, highly recommended selling something in eBay.

Anyone here already become a full time eBayer? If yes, what is your opinion when is the right timing to quit from your full time job and become the eBayer? Any opinion?

    Please help. Thanks

I don’t think ebay can serve a constant monthly income. Well I hope to join some affiliates also to generate a steady monthly income before quitting the job.

My opinion is ... you can quit from your full time job if your net profits with ebay 3X your job salary for over 5 months consistently.

my opinion, you don't have to quit your full time job while you can make an extra money on ebay for part time. lets say your monthly salary for your full time job is 1000++ plus an extra income from ebay 1000 = 2000++. then let's say your sales on ebay drop after several month, and you still have your full time job's salary to support your life.

It really depends on what you are selling and if you have a reliable supplier.

If you are making good amount consistently, then it's good. Also, you need to have a good product or good down shipping company. (whatever way you are using to sell items on eBay)

How much you need to earn depends on how much it costs for you to live. Most people waste A LOT of money. Work out what you spend now and how you might cut back. Get a budget.

For me reducing my living costs was important. Once that was done it made earning enough homeworking a lot easier.

But if you want to earn your living just from ebay that IS a full time job.

Well, I got my first sale after couple of months, selling on ebay. I continued it till I faced any issues with my suppliers as well as from ebay :)

It actually depends on how good you are dealing with the buyers and what you sell. I would not recommend you to make this (selling on ebay) a full-time job. The only reason being, you never know, ebay might any time stop you by selling by giving some silly reasons and suspend your account. Selling on ebay is not so easy, honey. You have to be very soft spoken and sweet toned with everyone, all the way long :)

Just continue what you are doing, right now, till the next 6 months and then return to this thread again. And if you have the same energy and enthusiasm as you have now, then I would suggest you to go for it, but not 100%.

I wouldn't recommend only having ebay as your only job. Your ebay account can become compromised or get shut down, or you could run into issues with your paypal account. If that is your only job what then will you do for money?
