1st Affiliate Website? Where to get it? How to build it?

I am just beginning. I know my niche market - I have some ideas how to get started.

However, I need to create a website. In the past for antoher project I have built free website (using tripod) but I know that I get what I pay for.

Where do you recommend I look for a user friendly cost efficeint website

 

You could create a niche site using a Wordpress blog that you host (not Wordpress.com) or, you could create a simple one page website that you host. Search for a good ad copy template and make it your own with some design changes.

 

Wiziwig's right... All you need to do is buy a domain name and some hosting (try hostgator) and add wordpress to you site.

It's very easy to do. There are tons of free wordpress themes you can download and use for your site.

You then just need to log in and add your content.

How is having a 1 page site really going to help? Wouldn't it be more beneficial to have a site that offers something, that would bring in more traffic, and ultimately more viewers?

It depends what type of site he's looking for. If you have an affiliate landing page site that you want to create, it doesn't need to be more than one page. You don't always need a large site with tons of content to have traffic.

 

You mean like those sites that are just full of ads?

 

Here's another vote for your own domain and Wordpress.

And build out a site with some content, not just one affiliate page. Google does not like thin affiliate sites - you need an about us page, contact us page and a few pages of content for customer credibility and spider love.

It would help if you will put in a blog so that it would be indexed by search engines faster. the latter likes it since blog always have new content.

 

It will easier if you build a site or blog and then join some affiliate program and place their banner on your site

 

Never use any free blog software like wordpress or blogger,get your own domain name and web hosting..it will give you a better PR in google.
Then you need to work on to bring traffic to your website.

 

I can tell you to turn $0 to $1000. You just need to work consistently and regularly. The way is from affiliate marketing. You dont have to invest a penny to make money.

I tell you the procedure.

1. Create a blog from any free blog host like blogspot or wordpress. Blogspot is the best.
2. Do basic SEO, that is popularize your blog through posting your blog in various social networking site, bookmarking site, forums etc.
3. When some traffic is started generating then join an affiliate program like what i have joined is referforex.com. Sign up is free. Only condition is that you have to have a site of blog of your own.
4. Promote your affiliate links there. If anyone sign up through your links, will make you earn commission.
5. Earning would depend on the traffic to your site. Therefore regular work on SEO and make your blog popular as much as you can.

Also dont forget to update your blogs regularly. Rest things would follow.
