1st = 85$ 2nd = 25$ - Magazine Cover

Looking for a cover for our latest magazine. It will be named "FreshAYR"

It will be a Christmas edition but not looking for it to be too Christmassy. Some web 2.0 styles along with traditional magazine styles. Will be printed A5 130 gm glossy type paper.

1st prize is 85$ and 2nd is 25$. I will select the winners here then me and my team can select a winner or combine the two.

I want to see some creativity. Google on images. "Ayr, Ayrshire". Its a town so maybe you could use some of the scenrey. I dont want it to over-do the mag with the pictures of ayr ubt yea include some of it if you like or come up with your own designs. One i thought of is put one of the pictures of ayr through a pencil filter or something and make it cartoon or rustic look-a-like. Just an idea, but go crazy.

 

Do u have a sample in mind (sample magazines) ... so that we could do our frame-idea?

Allright, here it is. I'd be glad if you could give me some feedback on it, so I'll know what to improve.




This is a resized version, to better fit the post, the original is made in A5 format.

 

i like both, the bottom one is kinda like a skater magazine/graffiti style which is alright, maybe tamper with the design a bit and it would look a bit better, good overall though, not too much christmas stuff, just right.

 

Everything you see can be easily modified (fonts, colors etc). Feel free to PM me if you'd like to go through an changes with me.
