+1s for index or articles? What's best for SEO?

    When I have a website with +1 buttons on several articles, should I make the +1 location the article path (mydomain.com/article) or the root URL (just mydomain.com)?
    What would be better for SEO?

    humans searchs informations through search engines, so, you might use the plugin sharethis (if you use wordpress), and this will appears on your articles, because that is what SEO is all about, finding information inside the articles, not the domain name.

    Articles of course. 'ause you may have many articles in your website, but only one domain name.
