I saw that press release of yours on a site that said, "Fact or Fiction", so if there are other people doubting the credibility of that release then I doubt it as well.

Well I made a post like a week ago, about when I googled 1on40 and it was on like the 5th place well... an admin or a mod closed it. They are serious hypocrites if they say they'll put you on top when even they can't get on top!

I signed up for 1on40 on October 19, 2007, listing a site in a highly competitive market (computers).

It is now March 1, 2008, and my site is not even in the top 50 on Google for any of my keywords.

If you want to sign up for the fun of it to see what they can do for you, go ahead. But DON'T send them any money.

KBAnet - I agree - do not send them any money.

Some of you may remember or (heaven forbid) were involved with a company called MTT. aka More Than Traffic - I was gullible enough to believe their claims that they would get targeted traffic to my site and guaranteed sales., I lost my money of course. This site smacks of that sort of hype, but again - since there is no upfront investment....I'm in there. More red flags - It appears that no physical address is given, (Mailboxes etc) in London. Also, the site is hosted in Moscow.

I've been a member for several mos but refuse to promote them until I see some results. I would bet my bottom dollar they are affiliated in some way with the former MTT - Even the web design is the same.

    Just my 2 cents worth

As I said before, I gave them an url of a side-project, a moribund site I hadn't done anything with.
So far - nothing. No more than 2 visitors a day. I got more response - lots more, 75 to 100 visitors a day , from posting a couple of links on yahoo answers the last time I remembered I had this site, about 6 months ago.

i think they have several ghost sites with useless content and feel them with anchor keyword text and point them to your site, you will get in top 5 if the keyword has not serious competition, otherwise no f way
my experience with companies like that is they employ cheap workers from india with very poor english language skills

you get what you pay for

Hi guys I have just notice something very perculiar about 1on40.com it looks like they might have something up there sleeve or atleast an idea of what they are doing

look here position number 2 out of 224,000,000 results
    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=ONE+result+on+Google&meta=

Although the keyword may not be competitive it still has a hell of alot of competition and they have near to 0 backlinks - what the hell are they doing is what id like to know

    very perculiar
