    Regardless of you hosting the files or not, you're still promoting and endorsing the distribution of copyright protected material and can be prosecuted for it.

    Just because you havent had any problems yet is no reason to assume you wont.

    This also isnt true, well depending where you live.

    Where i live, this isnt true, promoting links does not mean your doing anything illegal, or have a terms of agreement saying you dont endorse copyright material, and let your users upload video links etc.

    This goes for torrent sites aswell, its like a loophole.
