I have a domain that someone bought and they have yet initiated the transfer request from their registrar. I was wondering as a general question that if you transfer a domain OUT of 1and1 do you still need to Fax that stupid paper in with identification?

I know this thread is old, But i just wanted to update that 1and1 still is in the horror business, They are refusing me access to my domain that i bought their stupidly 4 years ago.
