1and1 down for anyone?

i have a few sites with them and they are all down. i'm trying to reach tech support via the phone and have been on hold for a bit now.

ok - just talked to some dude and he confirmed they had a "server" issue. not sure if it was a server or servers issue.

1&1 was a good experience to me before. It seems a down to the hill in their performance lately. I think they are doing oversold on each server they provides.

 

sorry for getting back to this so late. it was fine after i called but went i experienced issues again. seems to be fine now. i don't mind much now since i have mini sites on it but i'm currently developing a bigger site for a town and such a long downtime wouldn't be the greatest.

 

I'd recommend you to check more options to host your bigger web site as the hosting market is so competitive.

 

yea, i'll have to start looking cause i don't want people to spend advertising money on my site and then to go and see the site is down. it wouldn't be fair.

 

Where are your 1&1 hosting location? UK or US? You could find a lot of alternative solution if you are in US.

Wow, 1&1 and server outages *usually* don't mix. You would think they would have at least a little redundancy...
