$190 per day average!!!

After just over a year of trying all sorts of AdSense strategies, I'm now averaging $190 per day off just one site! I'm considering quitting the day job and moving out of the UK to a nice sunny country where there are lots of fit women on the beach... Brazil perhaps?
Anyone else reached such dizying states of AdSense extacy yet?

 

Nope. Just the opposite. About a year ago I was at $190 a day, now I'm down to about $19 a day.

This due to the recent algo changes AND I'm running more programs than just adsense now (which are bringing in a little bit of money but nothing like a year ago).

roadies, why did you drop down to 19? did you make any changes to your site, or was it all just because of the google algo?

I cannot belive a site can lose that much traffic though, after a year at that hight. Surley people must have started spreading your site by word of mouth, and you must have built up more backlinks?

Moral of the story is - when you're in an earnings peak - use that money to develop sites that don't rely on rankings and more on word of mouth and the nature of the web.. which isn't search, believe it or not!

Unique GREAT services people will tell others about, subscriptions, communities.. once the AdSense sites are earning plenty you better use that money to create a stable income else you're wasting your time and earnings!

Yeah, it's tragic to here stuff like that. The average content/information sites that rely on rankings unfortunately are on the whim of algorythms.

Many congrats! I've only got one site, and that's what I'll stick with for a while, but I hope to somehow get to that type of level one day.

I use an arbitrage model. eg. Buy low on AdWords, sell high on AdSense. As long as youve got enough money to bankroll it you can make big bucks

Yea I doubt this guy.
If I made $190 just off one site, I would concel it so nobody can compete with me.(Just like the real "adsense" pros do.)

Whenever people post their Adsense earnings they tend to be either fairly low, as in under $5 a day, or else dizzyingly high. I don't see many people posting earnings between $20 and $100 a day.

I would have thought more people would be at that mid-point. Neurophase, did you spend a long time at that point, struggling to get your earnings higher, or did it just take off one day when you had your strategies for your websites figured out?
