A friend of mine is going to swim the channel in August to raise some money for the Prostate Cancer charity. Thats 14 hours in the water. The best thing is that i got one of the VIP spots on his support boat with all the media etc I think he is going to be live on 3 different channels here in UK at some point in the news. I so gonna make a banner to take on that boat he he

But anyway... If you fancy making a small donation you can find more info http://www.edward-williams.org.uk/page2.html. Money goes straight to the charity.

I thought i may as well help him out online. He does hell of a good job offline himself. Even got an item from Tony Blair to sell on the auction.

If not you can give him a little digg HERE

Also i have his sponsorship pack in front of me at the moment which includes a dvd. I was trying to upload his sponsorship video which includes all the interesting info about the project as well as the interview with the guy in charge of the Prostate Cancer research but i could not convert the bastard into avi, divx or something. I went through 5 bits of converter software in the last half an hour and they were all rubbish! Does anyone know a good way of converting a 5 minute dvd into a decent format?

    Thanks a lot guys!

Most cancer charities are a waste of money because most money goes to cover 'administrative costs'. Their website doesn't have a breakout of how much money goes where
