Adsense is pretty random most of the time, sometimes you'll get some really good clicks and sometimes you'll get crappy ones. It definitely depends on your site niche as nitinleew said, as well as whether or not you got some fraudulent clicks that day. As you get more visitors to your site you'll see more constant, less random Adsense patterns.
me too adsense is scuking for me these days earlier i used to earn $0.05 per click and that has dropped to $0.01 now even a cpm network is paying me better than adsense
This is very much normal for me. Some times I earn $x from xx clicks, and another day, I earn all most the same but from 50% more clicks.
Many factors determine the click cost. I have also experienced that during weekends I make money per click than weekedays. i have a pattern which shows on tuesdays I make the least per click, probably the advertisers dont make good of their advertising on tuesdays. Niche is very important for per click value. if your site is targeted to mortgage, software , loans there are good chances that u will have per click above 50 cents.
