There's someone on Ebay who's been selling a package like this for a couple months now for only $4. Check out Ebay auction number 260041905319 for example.

I'm concerned this is not legal and the material has to be pirated. What do you think?

 

It sure looks like illegal but may be he has got reselling right of ebooks templates etc..

One of my frined has experienced the same type of thing before on ebay. He says you need to download those stuff over the net and these people provide you with a username and password to download it.

They all link to these sites which you can upload massive files for free.

I'm surprised he has been able to sell for so long without Ebay shutting him down. Where do you report such auctions to Ebay? I'm sorry, but if it's not legal, I'm reporting it.

 

It seems 100% legal. All the stuff i downloaded so far is legal.

I am afraid your plan to shut him down will fail, cos he isnt breaking any laws.

Yeh most people that do that stuff have reseller rights and dont usually go in without it knowing theres a good chance you will get screwed.

I actually brought a whole lot of stuff just like this a few days ago with full resale rights of course. It looks perfectly legal and these are power traders selling these things too.

 

No. Some of the scripts are old, but the word "cracked" appeared on nearly everyone.

It is 99% legal, and 1% illegal.

If you use illegal content why pay for this ? Find them on internet and use.

so if it is illegal, just plead stupid and say that you thought it was legal (like we do.) cant perform the impossible and find out if it is illegal....

Like i said a minute ago, everything is legal, except these 263 scripts. 90mb of illegal and the rest (over 17GB) is legal.

Who cares? I already submitted positive feedback to the seller and he has done the same back.

Well... my hard drive has only 9GB left out of 100GB now. Just shows how fast i can download and get new things.

If he's selling cracked scripts than it is definitely illegal. And as for the other files, you don't know if they are legal or not. Just because they dont have the word "cracked" or "nulled" doesnt mean they are legal. Anyone who claims to have resell rights, and sells cracked scripts, obviously can't be trusted as to the legitimacy of the remainder of the files. And yeah, its only $4, no big deal, but later on it could cost you a lot of money in legal fees. Claiming ignorance is not an excuse.
