Hi Guy, I really wonder how this thing happen... I have a blog with high demand keyword as a targeted keyword, 1800 search daily and this blog has been there for almost a month but i'm only getting very very tiny traffic compare to another blog that doesn't have that much of demand but giving me good traffic. How this could happen? what would be the possibility of such. Keyword is check against freekeyword.wordtracker and nichbotclassic Looking forward
wordtracker lies.It happened to me.There is no sure way to know how much traffic particular keyword will get.
It was from freekeywords.wordtracker.com and also nichebotclassic.com Little bit different between them but still huge demand 1,000 search a day. Wordtracker cannot be lie is't?
Wordtracker data is inaccurate IMO, the traffic is grossly inflated. It gathers data from meta search engines. What does Overture say for the same keyword?
It giving me NONE for that keyword. The other tools like: freekeywords.wordtracker www.nichebotclassic tools.seobook.com/keyword-tools/seobook/ All giving more less the similar result. Which one is reliable. Any other paid software do you suggest to get a reliable data. I thought wordtracker is reliabe since most IM is using it.
I think you answered your own question. Overture shows 0 searches and your getting no traffic from google for the term. Make up your own mind
I used to use Wordtracker, but you shouldn't.....Wordtracker compiles results from the Metacrawlers which account for around 1% of all searches, then it multiplies up to take in account the big search engines share of the market...However this is not accurate, because people using search engines such as Google search for different topics compared to people who use Wordtracker. I have one piece of advice for people who involved in affiliate marketing, use Google Adwords! The traffic estimator is off, however the Adwords suggestion tool is good, I use this tool to make thousands each month with good effect, I am not going into my unique method because I don't want any competition....But needless to say the Google tools are more accurate then the Wordtracker tools.....For completeness sake, I sometimes use Wordtracker and Google....Thay way I know I am nailing multiple search engines. So in summary - Wordtracker = rubbish. Google Adwords suggestion tool = excellent! Focus on Google, obviously Google has the majority of the market share and this is where you should focus your attention....Also realise that similar people will search for similar terms on the other major engines such as Yahoo and MSN. Hoped this has helped peeps, and will help you on your journey to milk the internet like me!
when do you type these keywords in google you see your site in what position? In google webmasters can you see the keywords that people are searching and the position that your site apeared for them?
It sucks, but just keep pushing. That's great that you are on the second page. Do some research and get some fresh keywords and try again. You already know that you can rank in the subject you are in. Ranking for keywords is like playing the lottery, the more tickets you buy the better your odds Matt
All of above 3 are powered by same, wordtracker. And as many people are saying its quite inaccurate. So, get over it buddy. Cheers
How Useful are your page titles and page descriptions? Since these are what people see and they are looking for what you are targeting these must be done correctly. I would start there.
If you arent getting traffic then the esimators are wrong!! That could be why you got to the top of the page so easy.
