18% Ctr?

I posted a couple weeks ago about my proxy site http://wontcatchme.com , which on it's second day was recieving 100% CTR through invalid clicks. Now, I am still with adsense with this site a few weeks later and my ctr has been 18-22% each day. I used to earn $8 but it has gone done to $3-$4 dollars a day which is fine with me. I use adlogger, and allow 1 click per 48 hours for safety; my site gets about 200 uniques a day on weekdays, 100 on weekends (fairly new). Question is, is 18% CTR too high? If so, do any of you guys know how to counter it besides adlogger?

Im not too too worried about losing the account since my other site has accounts with other large advertisers, but I definately don't want to lose adsense because it is good, even if it is easy to get into.

    Thanks

As long as YOU are being legit its fine. If you have adlogger installed and set up correctly then don't worry about it. The only thing left to do now is strap in for the ride. Good luck!

1 click per ip per 48 hours? Theres no need for that, plenty of users will click a few ads in a session or even on the same page without it being click fraud.

I went up to 46% once without warning. I think they will start to get suspicious if it's over 50%

18% is not too much at all. Its normal to make up to 50-60%.

Check your referral stats for a site called filthyloaded.com/cash or something similar. Make sure you block all referrals from this site.

I get one click from there on average; so you guys are saying 50% and 60%? I would cut down on the adlogger but I plan on opening 9 more proxies in 18 days.

I am running a few new proxies with a CTR of 22%. I have tried to install adlogger, and it doesn't seem to be working in terms of tracking clicks.

In any case, is it really strange to have a CTR this high? What incentive do people have to click on all of my ads? I don't see what this should be an issue.

Any explanation you could give would be appreciated.

18% isn't anything to be concerned about, I'm averaging 25% on some of my sites, and that's with Adlogger + filthyloaded being totally blocked. If you're really concerned contact Adsense, I did as a precaution when the filthyloaded thing came up in another thread and I was hitting 35% on some sites...it never hurts to cover yourself.

You are the first one I have seen that think that its ok that the ctr are falling. Why dont you remove all the adsense, then you get 0%, much better:D
