I've spent a fair amount of time on the site. But the thing is, most of the content is still being written. I've added other stuff in the meantime such as what i did here http://wdwkingdom.com/planningservice.aspx. I've been trying to spread the word about my Disney site and so far it's been going well in terms of feedback. I've just got to fix my ads so they don't have the annoying scrollbars. If anyone knows how to do this using Windows Live Internet Service please tell me.
Your ads are against the Adsense TOS. You may not place ads in frames or iframes. Take your large ad out of the frame to comply. You should also see a slight increase in revenue by doing this, since the whole banner will be shown.
I'm not suer if anyone has said this yet but it's against TOS to have the adsense ads in a iframe I would take it out of the iframe and place it on the site itself.
It wouldn't load when I put it on and I contacted someone on another forum and they suggested the iframe thing
Yes, don't use iframes for ads. I remember one of my sites had a missing tag and though it worked perfectly fine on IE, it was showing like a frame in FF and I got a warning letter from Google and finally I found that it was due to a tag and then even the Google guys wrote to me, saying that it was a mistake on their part. But it's best to avoid using frames.
The site you build, is on a new domain? Because i see on the domain whois the domain has been registered 15th of august 2006, but you state you developed the site only 4-1/2 days ago and you already received 400 uniques in the first days. To me it sounds weird that a dead site (for almost a year) receives that amount of unique hits within 2 days the site was developed. You must have a lot of friends...because i also see on Google you have almost 70% of your pages in supplemental results, so i doubt hard your traffic is organic (at least not from google). How ever things are, it is a good start if all what you say is true. What i would do is put the ads in the page and not in a iframe and organize the site slightly better. Try to build some backlinks to your site with keywords in your anchor text and enjoy the money.
I registered the domain in august but I haven't really done anything with it until last week. I just put the google ads on a couple of days ago and I started advertising it a couple of days ago. I have had 400 hits from one forum alone (where I advertised it first). I have had 10 requests for planning a trip.
