Hi digitalpoint forums for some reason the amount of clicks that I am receiving on my website has steadily been increasing but for some reason the dollar amount of earnings that I am receiving on my website SUCKS.

I am taking a look at my stats and around 20clicks/day barely gets me into the double digit figured :( What am I doing wrong - can this be fixed. My site is freewebspace4me.com

Whats the niche of your site soldit2 ? What's wrong with the inet these days - it's like the big sites will always get bigger and the small sites will always be stuck in the gutter for the next few yrs until they get there big break...

17 clicks for $3 is almost 18 cents a click for many niches thats good. I have many 1-5 cent a click niches and also many $1.50 a click niches. Its pretty proportional though, low cpc niches are really easy to drive clicks and traffic while higher cpc niches are more difficult to get traffic and even more difficult to make traffic click. It has always been this way...

    It is all Niche specific.

Also, you are not getting many clicks, that affects the type of advertisers google will show!

It depends on which niche you are in. Some competitive niches like hosting and forex generally generate better CPC. However based on the amount you have given, 18 cents per click should be considered on the average. There are some even worse like 0.03 cents per click.
