$175 Logo Contest - 24 Hours

Its not exactly what you asked for but close enough i feel. Hope you like it.

And ur right about the finished contests with the drawings. Some drawings are stolen ones and I admit that it's tempting when you see a contest like this with a prize of $175 because it's just a great amount of money.
But in the end it could get bad.. Imagine if the company you designed the "Stolen"logo for grows bigger and people notice that the logo is stolen and the actual designer of that particular images notices that aswell,
The original designer could sue the company for using a logo they are not allowed to use and you could end up in trouble aswell for providing the company with that logo.

Anyways great that you deleted the image and started on making a new one, I'd love to see the outcome

Once again I don't wanna be an *** but it's just not fair against users that make their own creations and fair against the contest holder.

 

Accipiter why don't you jump off a bridge when someone else does? I'm just saying.

Anyway, this forum is full of designs with stolen graphics and that's sad.
Maybe if here would be more administrators that could check the entries if they are unique or not and act right, there could be some positive changes about this.

 

It's nice to see that someone else has been noticed this, I thought I was alone. But anyway, the worst thing about these kind of designers (if we can call them that) is that they win the contests with their stolen graphics. I've sent a message to an admin today regarding this problem and so far I haven't received any answer or seen any measures taken.
I don't blame them, if I was an admin I wouldn't spend the day on google images checking for a suspicious design.
Unfortunately the contest holders can't see the difference between something original and something downloaded from an icon pack.

I made a slight adjustment and dont know how to remove my first one.

 

I didnt know how to delete the post, so i just removed the photo from Flickr to keep more than 1 from being posted.

 

Just choose the edit post and change the url of the picture you have posted.

 

That's why I'm not submitting anything
